THE BOXTROLLS TRAILER (Video) – Laika, the stop-motion animation studio that made Coraline and ParaNorman, is adding another movie to its impressive list. The latest trailer for The Boxtrolls gives viewers a peek at their craft, including the elaborate sets and characters created by hand.
The 3D film centers on an orphan named Eggs who was raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors called the Boxtrolls. When an evil exterminator plans on eliminating their kind, Eggs must protect his friends and family.
The Boxtrolls is directed by Graham Annable and Anthony Stacchi and features the voices of Isaac Hempstead-Wright, Ben Kingsley, Elle Fanning, Simon Pegg, Toni Colette, Jared Harris, Nick Frost,Richard Ayoade, and Tracy Morgan.
PLOT: A young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator. Based on the children’s novel ‘Here Be Monsters’ by Alan Snow.
