MARVEL ONE-SHOT ‘ALL HAIL THE KING’ STILLS (Photos) – I know I speak for many others who felt that Ben Kingsley‘s character in Iron Man 3 was a letdown. (If you have yet to watch Iron Man 3, stop reading now. Spoilers ahead.) When he revealed that he was only an actor pretending to be the Mandarin, many fans were disappointed with the wasted potential that could have been a great super-villain. However, there may be some redemption to Kingsley’s character in the upcoming Marvel One-Shot entitled All Hail the King.
The Marvel short will be released on the DVD and Blu-Ray for Thor: The Dark World, which hits stores on February 25. Judging from the stills, Kingsley’s character, Trevor Slattery, is now living a life in prison. He is granted an interview to discuss his acting career, why he did what he did, and if he’s afraid of the real Ten Rings organization hunting him down. Knowing Marvel, I’m guessing we will see a couple easter eggs including a familiar face, a foreshadowing, and some kind of twist.
